Design Hope Peel is a volunteer initiative that shares the goals of the original Design Hope, founded in Hamilton in 2001 and Toronto in 2004. Design Hope showcases the work of established, young and emerging artists to actively engage in the building of healthy communities and make a difference in community development. Established in 1971, Family Services of Peel is a multi-service agency that delivers a range of preventive, counselling, crisis, advocacy and educational services that focus on promoting and enhancing the well-being of individuals, couples and families. We also welcome personal and corporate donations to help DHP meet its needs.

Inspired by the theme of “immigration and diversity”, local artists have created pieces from mediums such as painting, photography, sculpture and blown glass. These one-of-a-kind pieces will be auctioned and raffled off on April 30th, 2010, during a special fine art auction at Clarke Hall in Mississauga. All of the proceeds will go to Family Services of Peel.
